Rachel Meisler opens her heart to share yoga and ayurveda ~ revealing these ancient, thriving modes of holistic health to be sustainable, realistic, practical ways of life. Here we are, full of flaws, perfectly ready for practice. Considering yoga to be ordinary, approachable, and essential for survival, Rachel teaches group classes and private sessions, creating a comfortable environment for learning at all levels.

Each session with Rachel will calm the mind and rejuvenate the body.  Cultivate pervasive peace and quiet, balance, strength, vitality, coordination, and concentration.  In yoga asana, Rachel unravels the postures of classical hatha yoga with a focus on alignment and attunement to subtle nuances.

Her sensitivity and deep compassion enable her to synthesize knowledge of the human body, nutrition, and ayurvedic lifestyles with your own complex and textured qualities to integrate accessible solutions for real-life, everyday concerns.

Her sincere yoga studies since 1997 motivated Rachel to join the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2009 through a 200-hour training at Yandara Yoga Institute.  She was fortunate to train with the Yandara staff and Peter Stereios.  Since then, she has presented the foundations of yoga to thousands of students and taught regularly at colleges, studios, community centers, festivals, special events, and privately.

A member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association since 2014, Rachel is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and completed training with the Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda.  She threads seasonal lifestyle considerations and nutrition science into her offerings, with Mother Nature as the guide.  Wild lands, deserts, mountains, rivers, and oceans are Rachel’s natural habitat, and she nurtures creative inspiration exploring the world.  Please join Rachel for a dip into the Ocean of Ayurveda.
